This advertisement is promoting the annual event, Bridal Bash on The Runway. Something Borrowed Bridal Boutique will be hosting a runway show to showcase the new bridal dresses for the year. It will be held on June 11th 2025, which is national marriage day. The ad consists of information about when and where the event will be held. This event is being promoted to invite customers to come watch models showcase their potential future wedding dresses. This ad is designed to resonate with brides that are looking for a stunning yet an affordable alternative to traditional wedding dresses. This ad brings the vision to life by promoting an elegant runway show by using colors, fonts, and graphics to capture this idea.
The choice of color that was used was pink, black, and white. Black and white are used because they are a timeless core colors of a wedding. It symbolizes the elegance and sophistication of a wedding. The pink is incorporated because it is the brand color, but also because it adds some warmth to the stark black and white. Next, the fonts that were used were Academy Engraved LET Plain:1.0 and Acumin Variable Concept. The Academy Engraved LET Plain:1.0 adds to the elegance and sophistication that is associated with weddings and complements the atmosphere the company is aiming for. The Academy Engraved LET Plain:1.0 is a very prominent font so the Acumin Variable Concept is there to balance the other font. The headline “Bridal Bash” is written in The Academy Engraved LET Plain:1.0 font to capture the attention of brides. This is done ensure the ad resonates with its target audience. Not only do the headlines and fonts play a role in captivating the correct audience, but the graphics also play a significant role. The graphic that was chosen was to promote the gowns that may be included in this year’s runway show. Furthermore, the company logo was included to show the audience who was promoting the event, enhancing brand recognition and visibility exposure by just looking at the ad. The copy included reflects the audience that is trying to be reached because it promotes wedding dresses, in a unique manner. Including the social media also allows the audience to learn more about the event. Furthermore, it encourages people to bring friends creating a sense of community and generates future buyers as well.
This ad should be placed on print and internet. Both is the best option because there is never too much exposure. Both would be beneficial because it is likely this company would be discovered on the internet especially because that is the main source of media today, and there are numerous platforms that are able to be used. The company is also able to buy ads that can pop up on consumers searches if they have had related exposure to this company. Print media is also important especially billboards. 71% of American drivers at least glance at a billboard while driving, and 50% find the billboard advertisements “Highly engaging” (True Impact Media). This means that even if there is not an immediate purchase, increased exposure to the company’s name can lead to potential future sales.

Something Borrowed Bridal Boutique announces their very first runway show
Experience affordable elegance: Unveiling Seasonal Styles that will not break the bank
PITTSBURGH (May 20, 2025)- Something Borrowed Bridal Boutique will be hosting their very first runway show showcasing the newest bridal and bridesmaid’s dresses. The runway show is set to be on June 11, 2025, in celebration of National Marriage Day. The runway show will be held at the Carnegie Museum of Art, showcasing the latest bridal and bridesmaid dresses.
This runway show will feature an array of gently-loved gowns, demonstrating that elegance and affordability can go hand in hand. “At Something Borrowed, we believe that every bride deserves to feel beautiful without feeling stressed about the cost,” said Lola Moonstone, the CEO of Something Borrowed. A study was conducted that concluded that 73% of young adults are finding it too expensive to get married. Something Borrowed mission is to make dreams accessible, especially for those in lower-income communities.
In addition to our focus on affordability, this company is passionate about sustainability in the wedding industry. A Research that was published in The Green Bride Guide, found that, “the average wedding produces 400 pounds of garbage and 63 tons of carbon dioxide. With an estimated 2.5 million weddings per years, that means 1 billion pounds of trash and the emissions equivalent to what four people would produce in a year in just one day.” Furthermore, data gathered from the Azazie report concluded from 32,828 consumers that 86% of people would not re-wear their wedding gown or the separate dress from their ceremony. “By choosing our pre-owned dresses brides can have that elegant wedding with our timeless gowns while contributing to a more sustainable future for our planet,” Lola Moonstone.
As we unveil our gowns of the year on our runway we will also celebrate beauty and timelessness that can be found in every dress, proving that a stunning wedding gown does not have to be accompanied by a hefty price tag. Each gown also reflects a commitment to an eco-friendly world. Join us for this unforgettable experience as we celebrate love on National Marriage Day.

Instagram's algorithm helps brands reach a larger audience, especially those searching for wedding inspiration. Reels and behind-the-scenes content can highlight how the gowns are sourced and transformed, building transparency and trust. Description of campaign
Something Borrowed Bridal Boutique campaign will be a mix of a giveaway and promotion. The promotion and giveaway will go hand in hand. Both will be promoting the runway event that will be hosted on June 11, 2025, in celebration of National Marriage Day, at the Carnegie Museum of Art. This runway event will be a way brides can come and see the latest bridal and bridesmaid’s dresses being showcased. The promotion will include photos and reels trying to drive ticket sales for the event and highlighting the benefits of shopping for eco-friendly and affordable bridal wear. The giveaway will encourage more engagement and reposts of the event and will allow followers to win three tickets to the runway show and a free alteration for their gown and bridesmaids dresses that are bought at Bridal Boutique.
How will campaign be executed
The campaign with start four weeks prior (May 14, 2025) to the event. To promote the event, we will post information on our page about the event. This will target brides to be and brides who are interested in sustainable fashion. We will also include a collaboration with @burghbrides. Burghbrides is a wedding planning resource to help make the planning process easier. They feature weddings, post tips, inspo, and vendor guides. They have a blog that they post many articles on. Burgh Brides would be great for promoting the runway event because they could write a blog about the event and link it to their Instagram post about the blog. The giveaway can also be a collaboration with their company. By using a linked post this can be a promotion for their company so people know where to find more tips for their weddings, and they can post about going to the runway show as a tip to finding and looking for unique, sustainable, and affordable gowns. The giveaway will work by having a joint post talking about the runway event and will state that by winning they will get three free tickets to the show and a free alteration for their gown and bridesmaids dresses that are bought at Bridal Boutique. To win it will state they must follow both accounts, repost on their story, like the post, and comment on the post. A final post the day before the event will also be utilized to remind viewers and to hopefully reach other people who may be interested.
What is the goal of the Campaign?
The main objective of the campaign is to have a great turn out for the runway show and a chance for the company to be discovered by a large audience. The goal of leveraging using Instagram to promote the event and hosting a giveaway is to drive engagement with our Instagram page, encouraging viewers to share the event on their own platforms. By doing so, we aim to increase visibility, spark excitement, and ultimately boost attendance at our runway show. While a runway show featuring wedding and bridal gowns may initially seem tailored to brides and bridesmaids, there’s a broader audience that could be equally intrigued. People who appreciate fashion, are planning their weddings in the future, support eco-conscious brands, or simply want to engage with the local community are all potential attendees. The goal of this campaign is not just to attract brides and their bridal parties, but also to inspire others with a passion for fashion, sustainability, and supporting businesses that make a positive impact.
Visuals that will be utilized
The visuals that will be used in the campaign will include a photo that are posted on the Instagram talking about the giveaway, a reel of behind the scenes of getting ready for the event, and a post the day before reminding people that the event is tomorrow. The photos that will be included in the giveaway post will include photos of Carnegie Mellon, photos of wedding and bridal gowns, and tying in something that indicates the sustainability aspect of the company. The goal of these photos is to show the viewers where the event is, what they will be showcasing (may not be the exact gowns so it is a surprise) and reminding viewers that Something borrowed is a sustainable company. Next, the reel will be short clips showcasing the process of finding the gently-loved gowns and showing the process of how Lola, Barbra, and Aspen work together in finding these gowns. With an audio either played on top of a video or having everyone mic’d up in the video, this will allow them to express how elegance can be found with sustainable and affordable options. Finally, the last post the day before the event will utilize somewhat of the same photos from the giveaway in different form to keep a consistent theme throughout the campaign. The goal of this post will be to get last-minute attention. Some people tend to not look that far ahead in their schedule if they have busy lives or may have just forgotten. Furthermore, announcing that tomorrow is the day of the event builds a sense of excitement around it which should boost ticket engagement. For example, someone who may have already bought a ticket might want to share this post with a friend to encourage them to come out for this exciting event.
Hashtags will also be incorporated into all captions connected to each post. Hashtags are important because they allow content to be discovered by users who are not following you and appear in search results related to the hashtag. The hashtags that will be incorporated to the posts will include #weddings (35.9 M posts), #sustainablefashion (21.3 M posts), #bridalfashion (4M posts), #SomethingBorrowedBridal, #affordableelegance (69.6 K), #BridalRunwayShow2025. The hashtags with the numbers are the ones that have been used on Instagram already that relate to the campaign. Using these already established hashtags can increase visibility, especially if they are the top hashtags being searched or used. However, because so many people use them it could cause the post to be buried in others if someone were to search these hashtags. To combat this issue unique hashtags like the ones that have no numbers displayed, could be used to have less competition, focus solely on the brand, and could possibly create a new trending hashtag that has yet to be used. Incorporating both allows users to be targeted in all ways.
The link that will be included in the giveaway post will be the terms and conditions to the giveaway and the link to our website to buy tickets for the event. Furthermore, because Bridal Boutique will post the giveaway on the Instagram in a way this post will allow people to easily click it and get redirected to our Instagram page. This will allow people to have easy access to learn more about the company and will also be able to see the company’s website link in the bio.
